Hello from Nick and Lara, founders and operators at Live Tiny. ​

Nick and Lara both grew up in the Bay of Islands where their tiny house story started at a young age as a shortage of rental properties gave them the dream of creating their own tiny home. Beginning by sourcing recycled building materials whilst completing university studies in Auckland, they went on to build their very own home during summer and the passion for tiny homes hasn’t stopped since.

 

After renting out their first tiny home and then building another, countless expressions of interest led to the realisation of the unique solution the tiny house lifestyle offers and the ability to create desirable and contemporary housing options that were affordable.
 

So in 2020, Nick and Lara created Live Tiny, Tiny House Builders working with a team of skilled contracted builders, plumbers, electricians, engineers, and other specialist contractors to create bespoke, high quality homes.

 

Having lived tiny over the past 8 years, Nick and Lara bring real world understanding of what works, what doesn’t and how to get the best out of a tiny home.
